Keep Up With My Latest Work
This Syrah wine label was commissioned by a patron who lost her home in the Santa Rosa fire. She named the wine with the reflection of how circumstances sometimes force us to surrender and accept "What will be..will be". If you look closely, you will see the burning skyline in the background with the mythological phoenix rising from the ashes. This piece was tinged with an underlying emotional quotient floating through my mind as I painted it. Bittersweet for the losses that were endured. Deep respect for the inner strength demonstrated by the courageous survivors. Prayers for the ongoing healing that remains. So, TO ALL: (and whatever you may be wresting with), Here is toasting to an abundant, and gratifying harvest...after the struggle and certain transformation of the toil.
This tongue-in-cheek zinfandel wine label was created for a pair of doctors with a dry sense of humor. The I.V. Drip is set up to deliver this years vintage and the shape of the I.V. unit gives the appearance of a wine glass.
